“ Went last night for a date before going to the curzon, and had a fantastic evening. The food was top notch, the waitress was lovely and very attentive. On top of that the prices were very good, can't recommend highly enough. We will have to go back to try more of the menu as it was all so enticing. The lamb shank was superb and the sea bass was grilled to perfection. Compliments to the chef and thanks for bring an important part of a perfect evening ”
“ Fantastic little addition to Wimbledon, the family had such a wonderful experience at Aimer last night for my sons birthday, the service was 5 star, the food was delicious and well presented, meat falling off the bone of the lamb shank, pork belly and lamb chops were cooked to perfection and my seafood risotto was delicious but the starters were out of this world amazing!! The lamb croquettes and Rock 'n Roll prawns...OMG! Overall, couldn't fault a thing, well one thing - the apperol was a touch heavy handed in the apperol spritz but the other cocktails were very well balanced. Thank you! ”
“ This restaurant is a hidden gem in Wimbledon. The food, atmosphere and service were all brilliant. We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for starters which were really fresh and delicious. All our mains were also exquisite- especially the salmon and grilled chicken which were to die for. I would highly recommend this if you’re in Wimbledon. We’ll definitely be back! ”
“ Truly amazing food at very reasonable prices. These guys can cook….had the best grilled fish ever! Very friendly welcoming service too. The best restaurant in Wimbledon? Recommended. ”
“ Wow – our new favourite spot in Wimbledon. We stumbled across this place on a spontaneous dinner out and were blown away. It’s a beautiful restaurant with amazing staff – and the food… the food was insanely good (and good value too). We started with the bruschetta and prawns which were both delicious. Then came the tuna and lamb shank, which were honestly two of the best dishes we’ve ever had. Naturally, we had to try dessert – the tres leches and cheesecake were out of this world. Lovely staff, brilliant service, and such a warm and welcoming owner. Can’t wait to come back! ”
“ Aimer has only been open a few months and is already raising the stakes in Wimbledon. Continental style easy plates with fabulous fat chips, great wine and fantastic service. If the rack of lamb was a tad small, it was cooked to perfection; ditto the aubergines, succulent and tangy. Steak was delightful. No desserts were taken, the appetiser olives & bread always welcome. We sat outside, but the interior is comfy and swish. Aimer is a small restaurant concentrating on a small menu and this works brilliantly. Best of all perhaps was the standard of service, the attention given by Sadie and Julia was superb, both friendly and efficient. They even stopped for a chat with us while tidying up at close and lent assistance to a distressed member of the public. Thoroughly enjoyable and already planning a return. Thank you ”
“ I went here for lunch after reading The reviews and I was blown away by the whole experience. The food, service and setting was exceptional. I had the lamb croquettes for starter, followed by the duck breast. I also ordered a side of fat chips. To finish, I had the pistachio cheesecake. It was more than enough food and thankfully there was no rush for me to take my time to finish all this delicious food. The waitress, Sadie, was very polite and helped me choose my dishes. I can't wait to come back here again. ”
“ Lovely restaurant with good food. We got seabream sashimi and tuna tataki for starters, and the mains wrre lamb musaka, pork belly glaze, duck breast and lamb chops. Sadly there was no more sirloin otherwise i’d love to try that. The service was great - the staff were so friendly and kind ”
